The presentation provides an overview of the Clearing‑House Mechanism (CHM) as an information exchange platform established under the Convention on Biological Diversity to promote scientific and technical cooperation. It introduces the evolution of the CHM as a global network consisting of the CBD website, national CHMs, and partner organizations, and explains the role of national CHMs in supporting the implementation of National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans within ASEAN Member States. The presentation documents the establishment and functions of the ASEAN Clearing‑House Mechanism as a regional gateway to biodiversity‑related information in Southeast Asia. It highlights that all ASEAN Member States are Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, that the ASEAN CHM serves as a single‑entry point linking national CHMs, and that the platform operates under four themes: management, publishing, coordination, and reporting.
