The ASEAN ENMAPS Resources page is the central knowledge‑sharing resource of the Effectively Managing Networks of Marine Protected Areas in Large Marine Ecosystems in the ASEAN Region (ASEAN ENMAPS) project. Established under the project’s Knowledge Management (KM) Plan, the repository supports the systematic creation, organisation, dissemination, and application of knowledge related to marine biodiversity conservation and sustainable fisheries management in Southeast Asia. The repository serves as the primary platform for Component 3 (Knowledge Management, Learning, and Networking) of ASEAN ENMAPS. It consolidates a wide range of knowledge products generated throughout the project lifecycle, including scientific studies, policy briefs, MPA management plans, experience notes, research reports, guidelines, training materials, and communication products. These resources capture best practices, lessons learned, and evidence from pilot sites in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand, with the aim of enabling replication and scaling across the ASEAN region. Designed for accessibility and reuse, the repository supports evidence‑based decision‑making by policymakers, MPA managers, researchers, practitioners, and local stakeholders. It contributes to regional learning by leveraging existing ASEAN and ACB knowledge‑sharing mechanisms and aligns with the ACB Knowledge Management Plan and Target 21 of the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, which emphasises open access to high‑quality biodiversity data, information and knowledge. By functioning as a central, curated knowledge hub, the ASEAN ENMAPS Resource page strengthens regional collaboration, builds capacity, and promotes a sustained, knowledge‑driven approach to marine protected area networks and marine corridor management in the ASEAN region. |
