The Regional Action Plan for ASEAN Heritage Parks (AHP RAP) 2026–2035 provides a regional strategic framework for strengthening the ASEAN Heritage Parks network over the 2026–2035 period. The document outlines priorities, goals, and recommended actions to enhance the representation, protection, management, and conservation of ecosystems within ASEAN Heritage Parks, while supporting regional cooperation and biodiversity objectives.

The action plan presents approaches related to protected area management, capacity development, ecosystem restoration, sustainable financing, monitoring and evaluation, partnerships, knowledge exchange, and governance. It also identifies mechanisms for improving the effectiveness and resilience of the ASEAN Heritage Parks network and for strengthening collaboration among ASEAN Member States and relevant stakeholders.
Developed within the context of the ASEAN Heritage Parks Programme, the action plan aligns regional protected area efforts with the ASEAN Biodiversity Plan and the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. As a regional policy and planning resource, it serves as a reference for protected area managers, policymakers, conservation practitioners, and partner organizations involved in biodiversity conservation and the management of protected areas across ASEAN.
