The Thailand Biodiversity Clearing-House Mechanism (TH-CHM) is the national platform established to facilitate the collection, management, and dissemination of biodiversity-related data and information in Thailand. Managed by the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), the TH-CHM supports the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) by enabling information exchange among stakeholders at national and international levels. The platform integrates datasets on species, ecosystems, protected areas, policies, and conservation initiatives, linking contributions from government agencies, research institutions, and civil society organizations. It provides tools for data sharing, reporting, and knowledge management, contributing to evidence-based decision-making, biodiversity monitoring, and national reporting obligations. The TH-CHM also supports public awareness, capacity building, and collaboration, strengthening Thailand’s biodiversity governance and alignment with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. |
